I made this sock monkey for a very sweet cousin of mine. The socks you use to create a sock monkey really determine your sock monkey's overall appearance. Everytime I look at a pair of socks I envision how they would look turned into a sock monkey!

A little guy I whipped up for a friend's new baby. I do felt eyes when making sock monkeys for little ones. Hope he is loved by his new friend!

I got a case of monkey blues

My first sock monkey with a soul patch! The guitar was fun to make, but took longer than I thought. I really dig this little guy!

Blackjack

Blackjack is a cute little guy I made for a friend. He is sporting a bunny hat and bright red scarf.

Luv Bug

Another commision. Love Bug's pattern is based off my Spider Monkey Pattern. The only real difference is the absence of the ears and tail. It was really weird to make a sock monkey with no ears or tail because those are some of my favorite parts to sew on! Still, Luv Bug came out looking pretty cool!

Flower Power!

This brightly colored monkey was a commision done for a friend at work. I love the pattern on these socks and the pretty pink flowers fit perfectly on it's hands and feet for a nifty effect. The socks themselves were very thin and stretchy and challenging to work with, but I love the end result!

Another monkey wearing a fleece animal hat. One of my favorites so far. I may do a series of monkeys wearing different dog breed hats...

Dance Fever

 Trying more options for monkey wear with these two sweet ballerinas. I got quite lucky and found the fabric  for the tutus in the remnant bin. :D

Brink

I gave Brink huge green eyes and a groovey plaid hat and scarf. He is enjoying the hot chocolate and cookies made out of sculpey by my youngest daughter.

Animal Crackers!

I made the monkey with the fox hat for a friend and decided to try one with a bear hat. I added the bear paws to jazz up the plain white scarf and really liked how it came out! I think they look quite sweet together!

I decided to show some love for Spirit day and craft this cute little purple monkey!
