New 100 mm Lens!

Leopard gecko test subjects with new 100mm lens. The lens is heavy and bulky and will take some getting used to, but I am super excited to start experimenting with macro photography more. :)

Leopard Geckos Pattern Evolution

I am still fascinated by how much my baby leopard geckos colors and patterns have changed as they grow into adulthood.

Valor on 4-22-14 and agian on 6-15-14

Siren on 4-6-14 and again on 6-15-14

The first photo is a comparision photo with the first day I got them on 4-7-14 and today 6-2-14. You can see how dramatically the patterns change. In Siren's case the body has almost completely lost the bands and quite a bit of darker ornage has emerged on the tail. With Valor you can see the black bands turning grey and the solid patch on her head breaking up into stripes and spots.

These guys have been so much fun to care for! I have found them to be a lovely pet in regards to temperment, ease of care, and how fun they are to watch. I can't wait to see how much they change as they grow into adulthood.
